We will have a selection of photo images to chose from to create your special masterpiece.
Core skills and techniques covered:

Brushwork techniques for applying water based paint with brushes.

Colour Theory: Understanding how colors work together, and mixing colours
-
Composition: How to arrange elements within a painting to create a balanced and effective image.
-
Perspective: Techniques for creating the illusion of three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface.

Varnishing: How to apply a final protective coat to a finished painting.
Materials packs can be provided for $65 extra, or you can bring your own using our supply list.
Portrait Painting Tues

In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the fundamentals of mark making and sketching — discovering how simple lines, dots, and patterns can grow into expressive drawings full of depth and character. With gentle, step-by-step guidance, you’ll experiment with different tools and materials, developing confidence and a personal touch in your work.
