Adult Painting Classes – 4 Week Courses

Beginners to Intermediate | 2 - hour weekly sessions

Unwind, get creative, and discover the joy of painting in a relaxed, supportive setting!
Over four fun-filled sessions, you’ll receive step-by-step guidance in the essential techniques and little secrets that help bring your artwork to life.

Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or building on existing skills, Alex can adapt to your pace and style — giving you all the help you need to grow your confidence and creativity.

The course is fun, flexible, and full of inspiration, with plenty of time to experiment and express yourself.
Come out to the coast in a beautiful natural setting and socialise with other creatives.

All materials can be provided in a $65 art pack, or you can bring your own using our supply list.

Refreshments are included, so come along, relax, and enjoy creating something beautiful each week!

We will have a selection of photo images to chose from to create your special masterpiece.

Core skills and techniques covered:

Brushwork techniques for applying water based paint with brushes.
Colour Theory: Understanding how colors work together, and mixing colours
Composition: How to arrange elements within a painting to create a balanced and effective image.
Perspective: Techniques for creating the illusion of three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface.
Varnishing: How to apply a final protective coat to a finished painting.
