Jaded

The passions faded

the eyes of green that glowed at night

turn to a dull blue in the daylight.

Secrets and small pleasures snatched

behind closed doors

the all too familiar massaging of egos

spoiling the physical adventure

As I have to remind myself

that bodies are human.

and mine

and my mind

are not for sale
